BROADEN YOUR SKILLS IN THE INDUSTRY
Areas of focus include layouts, composition, typography, colour work, the relationships between photography and illustration and how all these unite to give students the tools of a persuasive visual communicator.
PROGRESSION AT ɫɫÀ²
Completion of the course can enable progression on to our UAL Extended Diploma or Foundation Diploma (if you meet the UAL entry criteria for the course).
PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS
This course is taught in English, and students are asked to communicate with each other in English, giving our international students the perfect opportunity to practice their English speaking, listening, writing and reading skills.
COURSE OUTCOMES
You will discover how to use image, branding and art direction to tell brand stories.
You will learn how to design for print, web, mobile for the purposes of advertising and branding.
You will develop a sharp eye for detail and an understanding of type, image and layout as key assets to succeed in this sector of the creative arts.

Who is it for
The course is aimed at any student aged 14 + who is interested in learning about the fundamentals of visual communication for branding and advertising. Completion of the course can enable progression on to our Extended Diploma or Foundation Diploma courses awarded by the University of the Arts London Awarding Body.
English Level
International students should have at least an Upper Intermediate level of English
