Lisa

鈥淚 felt extremely excited and proud of myself when I found out I had been shortlisted for these GFW awards. I鈥檓 looking forward to seeing my collection on the catwalk. My main inspiration was the Armenian film 鈥楾he Colour of Pomegranates鈥. It鈥檚 about Armenian heritage, and the film itself is very avant-garde. The film is about androgyny as well, which inspired me as each outfit can be worn by either man or women.鈥

Holly

鈥淚 am both grateful and humbled to have been shortlisted for the GFW Awards. It’s an exciting opportunity to introduce and present my final major, which revolves around the transition to an eco-modern world. It excites me to be able to present this project to a panel of judges from the current fashion industry and network with others attending the event.鈥

Arif

鈥淭aking part in Graduate Fashion Week means a lot to me, it鈥檚 giving me the chance to put myself out there, come out of my shell and step foot into the industry鈥

These awards hold great significance as they are judged by industry professionals and ambassadors, lending further weight to the achievements of our students. Being nominated for these awards is incredibly competitive, with our students having been selected from approximately 2,000 graduates.
